Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off when dressing. It's important to remember that all metal is susceptible to natural wear.
This care guide will help you maintain your jewellery to ensure its longevity.
- As a prevention, remove your jewellery when exercising, showering, swimming, in saunas or steam rooms and hand washing.
- Put on your jewellery after you have applied perfume, hair and beauty products. Think of your jewellery as a finishing touch.
- Chlorine, saltwater and fresh water may damage metals — gold by dulling or eroding them. Soapy water when bathing and showering can also leave a thin film, which makes the metal seem dull. In other words, when there's liquid, there should be limited wear.
- Cleaning your jewellery regularly will increase the life-span of your piece. We recommend gently wiping or rubbing the jewellery with a dry soft cloth or microfibre cloth. Do not apply a lot of pressure when rubbing.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, oil, jewellery cleansers or polishing cloths as this can affect the finishing and plating.
- Avoid contact with perfume, hair spray, cosmetics, body lotions/oils, nail polish remover. Wipe away any residue if it does come into contact — your jewellery is particularly susceptible to damage from the chemicals in them.
- Always store your jewellery pieces individually so that they don't rub together, scratch or tangle.
- Store your jewellery in a zip lock or airtight box when it is not being worn, to keep out the air that might cause oxidation.
- Keep away from direct sunlight and away from heat.
- All sales are final. We do not accept returns and exchanges due to sanitation issues.
